If your old phone isn't an iPhone or Android, you'll need to sync it with your computer using the software that came with it. If you don't have this software, or never got it with your phone, visit your phone manufacturer's website where you should find links for downloading the software you need:
Once you've synced your contacts from your old phone to your computer, you'll need to sync your Samsung Galaxy phone with your computer using Samsung Kies. You can download this from Samsung's website.
To sync your phone:
Connect your new phone to your computer using the USB cable and open Samsung Kies
Select the Sync tab
Next to Sync contacts with, choose the program that you used to sync your old phone, then tap Sync
Your contacts and data will now have been transferred to your new phone.
